Today was a short drive to Banff. We arrived at 11:30am, early enough to tour the area.

We drove the Minniwanka Loop where we saw Lake Minniwanka, Two Jac Lake and Johnson Lake.

Johnson LakeThen we went to the beautiful Banff Springs Hotel. We had a light lunch of chicken wings and beer on the patio overlooking the Bow River.

Camp SiteBanff is very "touristy" with one main street lined with upscale shops. It had two gas stations. It was a classic ski town.
