Today was a short drive to Banff. We arrived at 11:30am, early enough to tour the area.

Then we went to the beautiful Banff Springs Hotel. We had a light lunch of chicken wings and beer on the patio overlooking the Bow River.

Banff is very "touristy" with one main street lined with upscale shops. It had two gas stations. It was a classic ski town.
